I bid on that same banner, it's huge!

 

Does anyone have a better picture of the banners? I might be able to get some made, but I am afraid of trademark or copyright on the phrase.

I got 2 different posters for sale.

 

it is kind of hard to get a good picture of a 12 foot long banner. I tried and none came out looking good, all distorted.

 

I made this one earlier if someone can do it at a reasonable price:



Of course, I have the original photoshop file as well. It's 3000 x 1000, so the proportions should be correct to make it 12x4' or 9x3'.

 

Where did you get such a hi-res image from?

Does anyone have any thoughts about using the phrase that Nissan has used and also the Nissan and/or Z logo?

I think it won't be an issue if these banners are made without the Nissan/Z logo, but I still don't know if the phrase is trademarked or copyrighted.

Whoever has the original banner, can you please take a look and see if there is a copyright logo near the phrase, or a TM (trademark) symbol?

If you go to HPDE's, there's usually a guy out there taking pics. And he can get those pretty big with minimal pixelation. Not too much $ either

The Nissan & Z logo are trademarks of Nissan Motors.
If you are not selling them and you are just using for personal use, then there shouldn't be a problem (as long as you are not making money of it, like printing it out on your own printer).

But you can't advertise as having the poster for sale, that's for sure.
