Default Help with making up my mind

Heya all, im looking at a 350z or a 06 sti but i want to add more power to get one of them to 500-550 hp, i like the 350z more but it seems like the sti would be better for my streets here in canada. they would be my daily driver, i heard the 350z costs alot for FI, but is the sti cheaper to add more power?

STI is going to be cheaper to mod to get to 500+ HP. Being in CAN it is also going to get you around better as a DD.

I guess its cheaper because the sti is already turbo so all you have to add are bigger turbos and such? man i wish 350z was turbo so it would cost so much cheaper to add hp

You should check with the FI guys in the FI forum, but if I'm not mistaken, getting the STi to 400HP would be cheaper than the Z, but more than that...like 550 would end up being just as expensive as 550 for the Z. I love the STi as well as the Z(I have an 03 Touring..STOCK) I have driven the STI a few times and it def feels faster because of the AWD launches and Boost. But it really is only slightly faster and in a race, it would go to the better driver. I live in New York so STi with winter tires would own the snow. I also have a beater for bad weather, etc. I was close to trading my Z for an 06 CGM STi, but couldn't go through with it for 2 reasons. The Z is completely BEAUTIFUL car with a timeless design that will still look good in 10-15 years. The Z is a 2 seat sports car with cockpit feel. The STi seating just felt like a really fast version of my 95 Corolla Sedan. I would Absolutely get one as a Daily driver, winter car if I had the cash or if I hadn't bought the Z first.

A 500 horsepower 350Z or a 500 horsepower Sabaru? With respect, get the car first because right now this is just a pipe dream.
