I just want to get enough miles on my 06' to open it up

Valid point from the original poster though. I'll admit I expected my HID's to be a bit bluer too, but no biggie. They actually surprised me in the quality of light however. I thought I'd read some posts on how cut-off the beam was, but I don't see any of that. My wife's 04 Solara's beams are really cut-off and it was really weird getting used to it when going up and down a hilly road.

give it some time, the bulb output will turn slightly bluer with time.

i LOVE the 06 hid compared to earlier and many other cars too...

Keep in mind.. when you look at the FX hid they are much higher than Z
so your seiing different part of the beam...

I had an 03' Touring and my headlights were bright with a strong blue tint. I traded and bought an 06' Enthusiast with the Bi xenon and noticed that the blue tint was not there but I see much better with my 06' Bi Xenon's so I'm not complaining. If you want the blue tint, just change the bulb.

How much wider would you say the bi-xenon beam is when compared to pre '06's? Something like from a V to a W beam pattern? I'm thinking of buying these but not sure if they are $1,200 worth of improvement. By the way, what happened to that one person who said he would post a pic when his wife gets home? Could you post it already, while we're young?

A V to a W is about right. I dont know if the lights are worth the $1200 but if you got it to burn go for it. I'm all about upgrades.
