What's the best compliment you have gotten?
all the time for me also.
Lady at Dunkin commented on the color, "Wooowww thats a fancy car" (its brickyard)
People never know how old it is. My neighbor came over when I was working on the bumper asked what I was doing and I explained to him. He said, wow that has alot of chips in it for a new car. I told him it was an 03 with 71k, and he still wont believe me.
Met gf's parents and we were talking about cars. Her dad gets up and leaves, comes back 5 min later and says, " those are some serious wheels you got there."
My favorite is still the old couple walking in front of my house, the man says nice car to me (i had just washed and waxed it) and the woman goes, "Oh it looks like the devil!"
Same old man a fews weeks later, sans wife, walks past and says I think my son-in-law has a car like that, It's a 350Z, but its not as new as that one...
-Mines an 03.
and so on and so forth, Breakin' necks, like e'rry single day

Reverse cowgirl passenger seat reclined and slid back works best. Also pick a small girl.

I usually get a compliment whenever I drive around with the top down. Got a comment yesterday "Thats a really nice toy" from a guy in a 60's Mustang; Comment on Saturday from some girl in a parking lot "OMG, is that a porsche"
, Some guy in a Acura RSX on Friday "Wanna trade cars?"

This was back in early '05 when the Z wasn't dime a dozen. Some random guy driving by in a pos, "You &*$^&@#$%^, @#&^ you, and your Porsche." I thought what Porsche? You talking to me? lol
Haha although I don't approve of going 100mph, the best are always when others do the talking for you hahah
When I picked up my 2 cats from the boarders in Orlando(happy paws) I had all the chicks(including jailbait) say to me " omg! thats like totally my favorite car!"
I smiled and left
(I was wearing black on black nice office clothing, and black and black Z = instant sex)

not the best because I've only got 1 so far while driving my car...was washing it. GF was by the hood. Some ppl walk by and say, "Nice car, sick". She's like "Ah not my car, it's his". I lean out and say, "Yea my car". Guy's like "Fawking sick. I like it".
I do get tons of ppl while I am on the freeway looking constantly and giving thumbs up or just riding next to me forever.

I was pulling in to my driveway in my apartment complex. There was this guy walking with his young son (maybe 4 years old??) across the street. The kid stops and says "COOL CAR!" but his dad tries to keep walking. but the kids keeps pointing at my car and saying "Dad look! Cool Car!" Even after I parked and was heading up stairs he kept saying it. It made me laugh how excited he was.
Few months ago, when i let a couple of guys cross the road, one of them stopped, faced me and gave me two thumbs, nodding his head saying "yeaaaaa"
Then tOday I was just parking the Z in front of a mall and these dudes started striking poses, taking pics next to my car while I was still in it. wtf. Not used to this type of stuff. Funny though lol

Last week some lady at the gas station said
"Nice ride, is that stick?"
Me- "yeah, thanks"
Her- "Wow, I bet the stick is hard so you can ride it rough"
I just smiled thinking it was a sexual reference(she was an old white lady, lol)

Well I joined this forum few months, ago and this is my first comment on a thread. Just today as I was driving home leaving the bank, a fellow stoped me to ask for direction and after I told him he yelled wow really nice car one day when I hit the lotto I want to get me one. That made my day!
The other day I was driving back from my parents' house and some kids (seriously, they all looked like they were 12) pulled up next to me in a Grand Am and were asking me to rev my engine and how fast I had gone and all that stuff.
Then, the kid tells me his mom is thinking of buying a Chevy Blazer SS and how great that would be. I really don't know how to interact with kids, I'm broadcasting on a totally different frequency, but the look on their faces was familiar.
I remember when I was a kid and saw a really cool car and lit up. It was a nice feeling.

With my DB Z I had about 5 years ago I don't really recall too many compliments but then again I only had it for a few months (and here in Los Angeles there are many Z's so it's not that big of a deal anymore..) but I had a red 87 300zx Turbo and I was at a italian place when one of the waitress' walks out and asks if my car was a farrari or corvette. That was nice. =P
