hehe I had same situation - not a screen saver but desktop though!!

Another one - going out from a mall I saw a lady steering at my 350z. For 1 sec I thought there is something wrong with my car, but when I approached she asked my - Are U driving this car? I said YES... Lovely car she said.. after 5 min asking about engine size, year, HP etc.. she took off in her 08 S600 Mercedes saying LOVE YOUR CAR !! Love this kind of situations.

 

This porsche compliment is very common.... .. ppl get easily confused .. but i love it

today, I was waiting on a signal ....... a sweet lookin gal in audi TT on the opposite side, kept staring when she passed by me .. i was scared thinking she might drive into me

 

DB is such a great color. People always ask me if it's custom paint, or they assume it's custom paint and ask who did it/what the color is called, etc.

 

She could of been your soul mate, maybe destiny was pulling her closer to you. But if she was only staring at the Z forget all that.

 

I had a very nice charger RT pull up to me after a quick jaunt onto the highway in which I pulled 3 car lengths on him easily.

As we slowed down and were rolling around 60mph he yells out of the window. "Damn, what the hell do you have done to that thing?" My reply was "It's Stock!"

 

Already has a few compliments and its only been like a week or so. Got "sick car" at the In n Out drive in, and then the other day I parked illegally and the security guard started to walk over to me. I thought I was going to get yelled at, but instead he just said, "thats a nice car, what is it, a mazda(???)? Must be a race edition or something, huh?"

 

I think the DB can go either way. Guy here with a DB roadster who wants to sell or paint it because his friends call his car a Hot Wheels car because of the color. I guess as he is getting older, DB isn't such a great color.

 

i think the best compliments are from non-z owners who are also car enthusiasts... i've been getting a lot of waves/nods/smiles/deuces from guys in modded s2k's, sti's, etc etc etc..
and someone in a beat up corolla took a pic of my z on the freeway while passing me in the carpool lane.. i feel like i should be worried

Today I was stopped at a light, in the left lane, downtown. Right next to me were a bunch of valet guys for a hotel. Two of them started to walk into the street, staring very intenetly at my car today. Seeing as its downtown, and they must see tons of expensive cars, it was quite the compliment so I revved for em before taking off.

 

I had a guy with a 2001 NSX pull up next to me and tell me he loved my car

 

Lady that brought me my food at burger king (they had to cook something so they had me park)

went on and on for a few min about how much she loved my car

got the usual porche compliment and something about "its like a porche but not gay"

i also came out of walmart one time to find a family having a photoshoot with my car

 

"Who did you steal this from? Someone from USC?"

driving out of a parking garage in burbank, a guy pointed at my car and said to his girlfriend, "that is a sick car". that made my night .

 

I haven't had many comments on my Z because of the prevalence of ridiculous cars in my area, but I did have a newly immigrated gas attendant tell me while I was paying for gas, that when he made it big he wanted car exactly like mine.

 

You pulled 3 car lengths on a charger RT?????? How is that possible?? Doesn`t that thing have a ****ing HIMI ??

My house mate keeps telling her friends at work: "..my house mate is driving a BOND CAR ... "... that was the best one so far

 

it's HEMI. .and they are im surprised not that quick. .i've pulled on one as well over here in NJ on rt 18. .although he did have 2 passenger's. .i still pulled faster on him. .

best compliment is when i was introduced to this chic. .who was beautiful and she said to me with a slight devilish smile. .Can you teach this girl how to drive that stick? (unfortunately GF was at the party and i had to just walk away. . . . ) or i would of taught her a few things!!!!
