Default Working for the enemy

Well, they may not exactly be an enemy, but I've been on assignment at Toyota in northern KY for the last month or so. It was such a nice day today, I figured I'd snap some pics of my Z in front of the HQ building.

I'm paranoid that one day I'll come out to the parking lot after work and my Z will be dismantled, with Toyota engineers sizing up the competition for the next Supra!

There are a few more here: http://www.brackethead.com/350zsurvey/news/toyota.htm.

That is funny about the engineers.

We ought to have a meet!

Know any other Cincinnati/NKY owners?

Did you take those today? It has been so crappy around here. Finally a nice Sunny day. I took advantage and ran a couple laps around Sharon Woods. I was ticked that all the moisture had not dryed off the roads of the park and my Baby got a little wet.

(Oh the joys of new car ownership - worrying, detailing, cleaning, more worrying.).

drake3- I'd be up for a meet. I don't think we've had one in Cinci yet. How about next weekend? If you're in, I'll post an announcement in the regional forum.

bat- I don't have any inside info on the Supra! Wish I did.

Hey Brackethead,

Next weekend would be cool, if it is nice weather.
My friends know that I have this thing... I don't drive the fun cars unless it is weather they would lauch the space shuttle in!
(I have a daily driver for the crappy weather.)

And I hate this salt crap they pour out here all over the roads.

Let me check the forecast and get back to you. Any ideas on where?

Hey also, do you have the Bose fix or no? My car was made 12/02 and I think my stereo sounds like crap. I would like to hear another Z's stereo compared to mine and see what you think too.

Hey drake,

I agree, I drive the beater if the weather's bad. We could say Saturday if it's nice, if not just try another weekend.

I have the Bose fix, and I'm happy with it. I also have Xpel paint protection.

We could meet in Blue Ash. I can think of a big parking lot for an office bulding there -- it'll be empty on the weekend. We could go across the street to Watson Brothers for lunch. Depending on who else is interested, we could meet somewhere else. But that's what I can think of right now.

ooowww oowww.. I am thinking about Xpel.

How much and where? PM me the information if you don't want to post it. Did you like the installer?

Blue Ash is good, Reed Hartman - Pfeiffer, I know where you are talking about. I was also thinking Rookwood or Kenwood as central places (sort of).

excellent.

I live 5 min from Rookwood, but that place is SOOOOO crowded on the weekend!

I posted an announcment in the regional forum: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=18305 (also cross posted in the USA South Central for KY people)

Xpel - I actually had mine done in VA (bought my Z in MD), but my best friend's the only certified Xpel installer in the Cinci area. I'll try to get him to come.

Brackethead,

I know that's a large facility but just out of curiosity, have you met a big (maybe 300 pound) Indian guy named Paresh Patel at Toyota? He works at that facility as a coop engineer-in-training.

He's one of my fraternity brothers.

If you see him, tell him Rich @ Nissan says hello and that I got my new car on Friday.

Thanx

Toyota is really good at keeping secrets. They're known for that. a friend of mine works for Toyota as well, and all he knows is that the Supra will be released sometime next year.
