Question jdm specs?

hey everyone, just wondering is their a US version vs JDM version of the 350z and if so what are the specs of the jdm? i've searched but i can't find anything.

or shave off your embelem and put FairladyZ on it will make your Z JDM for sure. not joking here. for realz

Did you bother even looking at that site, man? There no useful information on it at all.

As for differences, and I don't know if this is true or not, but I've been told that they can't sell them over there with more than a certain amount of HP(less than US models, but not much). That they have some sort of governer that is removed upon import. Again, I'm not sure if it's valid, but something to look into.

Its a cool site.

Max. power (PS / rpm) 280 / 6,200 which is 276.1 horsepower.
Max. torque (kg-m / rpm) 37.0 / 4,800 which is 267.6 foot pounds.

My car is JDM spec.....all my vinyl is printed backwards on the passengers side.

Dave, I think the wheels are the same except the JDM offers the Momo wheel for the Z, which is pretty sweet. No controls on it though...

That is called the "gentleman's limit" All cars prior to 2005 were limited to 280hp maximum from the factory. That law is officially out the door now so from this year you will see cars with real horsepower ratings. there will be no more "in reality, this cars is making" crap anymore. That is why in Japan, the Z32 was making"280hp" and over here, they were making 300hp. By the way, the MREV VQ35DE in Japan is rated @ 294.
