$50,000/$100,000 (Ea Person/Ea Occurrence)

$50,000$ (Ea Occurrence)

Personal Injury Protection

UM Property Damage $50,000 (Ea Accident)

Comprehensive $500

Loss of use: $22 per day.

Underwriter. Not a major ins comp.

My coverage is very similar to what you were quoted. But, I pay $590 for 6 month policy. Geico.

I'm 31, so for 25 years old....that's a good rate I assume.

yeah.. if you are mid twenties or up and a good driving record (even with one point) then they ASSUME that you are a well to do responsible person... which most of us are. Even when I drive reckless, I make sure its at the right time and the right place so Ive never had an accident (well, not counting the 4 I was in when I was 16!)

Interesting.

Thanks for sharing that piece of information. So from wat I've hear do far, I guess its a pretty decent quote.

Yeah, like someone pointed out, I need to make sure that the after service is good...prompt/responsive etc etc. ((well in the first place I pray that I wont have to contact them with such a reason!)).

Thanks.

That works out to roughly 130 bucks a month.

Is this a average quote for someone who has a clean driving history? I mean, no tickets since I started driving (rentals) like 3 yrs ago BUT got my own car and insurance just last year. I kinda think its too low for a sports car (Not that I want to dish out money to my ins guy!).

But just wanted to check with u guys if this sounds rite or do u think it won't cover me well if i get into something? Let me know if you want to me mention my policy details.

(Hey Moderator: Please dont be mad at me. I am really not sure if we can discuss such stuff on this forum!)

Thx!

Thats not really low. I am with a reputable Insurance Company (SAFECO) and I am paying $650/6 months with 500/500 Deductibles. and I am 23 y/o with no accidents

Insurance is what we call in the finance industry a "scored" product. Cost is strictly related to a number of variables unique to where you live such as age, theft, accidents etc.

In other words, comparing your quote to somebody in another region is not apple to apples. It depends what type of activity occurs where you live. Thats why minivans often times have insurance rates higher than Ferraris.
