Any car is going to rattle at some point. Sports cars typically have harder suspensions so expect things to become looser quickly thus getting rattles sooner than later...

From taking apart the door handle and window switches, I noticed that there is an area where the door panel vibrates against the metal door frame which I believe is the cause of the rattle. I insert a small piece of rubber in that spot and it kind of helped. When I get the time, Im going to take apart the whole door panel and line it with some felt tape and see if that makes it better too.

If you do that, PM me and let me know if that fixes it.

about the passenger seat belt thing... I have made it a habit now that after anyone rides with me, I put the seat belt beck into the small plastic slit on the pillar. Just have to reach over push the belt and slide it under. For some reason our seat belts lover to bang all over the place during spirited driving, and Nissan obviously noticed this, lol.

Default dash rattle on passanger side

Regarding the rattle mentioned several times in the this thread - the one that sounds like it's deep in the dash on the passenger side and can be recreated by bonking the words "airbag"

- has anyone attempted to repair this? it's making me nuts and i'm hesitant to start ripping into the dash near an airbag

'05 owner (24K+ miles, several autocrosses).

The only rattle that I have is from the emergency hatch release.

I don't have any rattles that I know of. Then again I'm always listening to the radio

I do however have this wierd noise in the back right. Like when I go over bumps it sounds like some type of metal sound. I'm thinking its the shocks but I've only got 14.7k on mine and it only happens sometimes.

I would take it in but I have no idea how to describe it or how to replicate it

My biggest rattle seems to be coming from the passenger door/window area. I dunno, I just deal with it.

Once i put my exhaust in i got 6 new rattles.
1 from the exhaust tip hitting the bumper
1 from the X pipe hitting the M frame
1 from the door resonating
1 from the glasses case resonating
1 from the dash resonating
1 from my alpine HU resonating.

Its freakin annoying, but what are you gonna do. I might get a quieter exhaust, but i LOVE this exhaust -.-

I notice a few noises when driving in colder weather. Warm weather = quite even on the bumpiest roads.
