I work at the mall...I park like 100 feet from everyone...the mall was busy yesterday...it looks like someone scraped my passenger door with something. theres a thick hairline scratch thats 3 inchs long...and two bumps...Does anyone have any idea if they can fix just that part....bc my buddy said they might have to order a new passenger door skin...if so does anyone know how much that cost? let me know please...this sucks!

Being its on the metal door they can fix it... if it was on your plastic bumper then you would need a new skin.

 

they can fix the bump even if it comes out...its not a dent...its a bump...and i heard that the doors have a thin piece of aluminum....im wondering if they can touch it up and than just blend it...anyone have it done before?

 

cant touch it up.. gotta repaint the whole shebang

you can have it fixed but scratches are just a normal part of wear and tear an excesive amount of scratches...that is something to be concerned about.

one part went to the metal..it like chipped...my buddy said it looks like something on the inside popped it out...thats what i thought 2...do u think if the bar from the window popped it out...its covered under warranty????

I got my front quarter panel dinged a few places... i even got some paint scratched off on the wheel arch. I'll post pics later. Anyone wanna take a guess at how much it'll cost.

You want people to be *sure* about their answers, but aren't posting pics. I think to accurately assess the situation we need some photos.

 

i went an autobody shop...925 bucks...they said they have to "blend" it...than i went to nissan bc it bumps out...they said they gotta take the door apart...if there isnt anything messed with on the motor for the window...they said they think they can cover it with warranty...cross ur fingers for me please
