Default If you could go back...and switch models

If you could go back and instead of buying the track or touring model and instead save the several thousand dollars and buy a base or enthusiast and put that money into performance/style mods...would you do it?

I'd like to hear what you think about VDC, limited slip, leather, heated seats, etc. (aside from Brembo) and if you believe they were worth the extra money and why?

I was considering buying the less expensive model and go F/I or just a bunch of bolt ons and custom cosmetic mods.

Enthusiast and touring have the same brakes. I regret getting touring.. I paid 35k. I should have gotten enthusiast + 19 inch volks, tein flex edfc, + vertex kit.

I love my 03' touring, I like leather more than cloth and when I found mine I feel in love...

People always ask me how i afford a $40k+ car, then I tell them how much i paid and they are always shocked

Nope, I love my Base. No, switches on the steering wheel. No VDC or TC.

The price gives me $7-9K to mod the car with.

Let's see NISMO LSD, Wheels, Tires, Shocks, Sways ...... plus lots of other goodies.

For $25K nothing else comes close ......

I like my touring, but I always wonder what it's like to have the track model with those brembos...

They should have just slapped the Brembos and a Nismo LSD on the Base and call that the "Track model".

I would have gotten that for sure!

IMO, I didint need leather seats. It just gets too dammed hot in Sunny California for it. Plus @ work I park outside all day, so i couldn't justify that. Enthusiast model had everything i wanted e.g. LSD,HID, and the little extras. I cared less about the 17" wheels, hate them alot, but my WORK wheels are on order and gonna come in pretty soon!

So I got everything I wanted in the Enth model minus the brembos and leather. Also the '05 cost difference between the touring and enthusiast was about $5K last year. This year its about $2500.

Track with those Brembos looks good with a Lemans but I got the Touring no Nav.
