Default Need advice on performance mods.

Hey, I have a 2004 350z and it has 19,000 miles on it. I want to add 25-35 horsepower to the wheels. I would like to spend between $1500-$3000. I was thinking of putting on an intake, exhaust, and headers. But, I don't know which type or brand is better. I also don't want to spend $1500 on exhaust if a 350 flywheel will give me a better result. I love cars and know a lot about specs. and models but when it comes to modifying cars I'm lost. I have tried to research it but there is so much out there and I have know clue if it's a quality product. If you could help me make a decision I would appreciate it.

I'd first start off with a plenum spacer and a popcharger. Those two mods alone can net you 10+whp and only cost about $400 (total)... plus you can install them yourself!

For 1500 bucks go with 3.91 gears. It will feel like you picked up 25 H.P.

so you guys know:

A 350Z stock has 287 hp.
1. Intake 299 hp>>>you gain 12hp $200.00
2. Exhaust 319 hp>>>you gain 20hp $800.00
3. Pulley 334 hp>>>you gain 15hp $200.00
4. headers 344 hp>>>you gain 10hp $500.00
5. flywheel/clutch 369 hp>>> you gain 25hp. $not sure.

Safely under 2k you get over 50 hp, however, you got to install these yourself.

Third, you are listing crank hp which no one goes by when saying how much power a mod adds. People measure hp by what it puts down at the wheels. Also a clutch/flywheel and or gears dont make hp. It just makes you feel as if you have gained it.
yeah...you are right. I was talking about crank HP. I missed to look at the original poster on his question about HP to the wheels.

Questions: 06 350Z Touring

I am interested in a PLENUM SPACER like a Kinetix Racing V+ Plenum 350Z or, The Motordyne 5/16" Basic Plenum spacer.. Not sure of brands, quality, and size.. Note: I want to keep my engine cover and strut bar.

The Turbonator? What the HELL! If this for real?? the website: http://www.turbonator.com/ stated that~ (the Turbonator will add up to 35 horsepower to your vehicle)

Anyway.. Any info would be great!!

Thanks everybody!.!.!
