Unhappy Sudden greif brings new opportunity.

So I'm leaving the parking lot at the tanning salon earlier this evening, and I see this purple PT Cruiser in the turn lane, seeming like he was planning on turning right where I was coming out. So I start rolling forward, and I see him fly by me and I hear a little click. I bet my boyfriend a million bucks that I had purple paint on my bumper and he said he thought I just bottomed out a little leaving the lot. So we stop over at McDonald's, check it out and the most amazing thing happened. I was only missing clear coat. I didn't even trade paint. 1/32 of an inch more and I would probably be front-bumperless.

So, while we are eating, I am mourning this tragedy and my boyfriend is quoting me probable prices on the paint work. Then it hits me.. f*** body work... I can just buy a body KIT. And while I typically prioritize performance over looks (like the turbonetics t60 tuner kit that I've been drooling over) this is a special occasion.

So now I'm doing a poll... which body kit should I go for? Here's a little bit about me and my car, for better pairing:

I'm 20, my car is bone stock (for now, I just got it the other day so don't hate!), Silverstone, I'm female, I like the 'silent killer' look, so nothing too outrageous, I favor widebody but don't insist on it and I need to leave ground clearence room for the Tien S.Tech 1.5" drop springs (to be added later).

Now hence thee forth and show me some body kits....

You can buff that out it sounds like, but whatever.

<- likes the stock front bumper!

Yeah I know... but I'd rather not fix the tiny little blemish when I know I'll end up with a kit anyway. *shrugs*

edit: Wait I had time to think about that... if the clear coat is missing, buffing would only make it worse... :-\

Whatever kit you go with, don't get a wing. IMO, the 350Z looks more sexy and shophisticated without a wing.

Wow that is super subtle! Very sexy. I'm pretty picky about rear bumpers... I like them to be even with the rest of the kit, as opposed to having that upward tilt. This http://krazykustomzonline.com/produc...oducts_id=5380 rear bumper is my favorite (without the wing). I like the rest of the kit too, so I think I might get this one but I know I haven't seen every body kit out there yet.. :-)

That doesn't seem ver subtle at all and to be honest if you look at the lines right below the plate around the fenders it seems to stick out which to me doesn't look right. Seems like it doesn't fit like it's supposed to, then again maybe it's just the picture.

*shrugs* I was never much of an appearence woman. I value performance over appearance but I do like a slightly aggressive look. Over the top, to me, is like that Veilside kit (you know the one). It's pretty but just too much. When I say subtle, I don't mean damn near stock... I just mean not so much... flash. The flush on the fenders is an easy fix. Kits are meant to fit, but not if a jackass installs it ;-)

First off, I would kill to have a GF that not only drove, but respected the Z and second, whatever front kit you decide to get make sure it comes with a screen mesh. I say this because the other day I was washing my car and just happened to open the hood <I'm still stock too> and in the space between the front grill and the radiator/engine were all these dried leaves and branches. I tried to vacuum them out but it was too difficult to reach all the way in there. Because it sits so low, the front air dam picks up all sorts of crap and a mesh screen might prevent all that debris from getting stuck in there. Just my .02 though...

do you still have factory wheels? in my opinion, i would upgrade the wheels before the body kit, or just do both

Holy Crap, where's the crane they use to move that thing around? Entirely over slammed. Nice kit though.

I like the Do-Luck too, minus the 747 tail section.

I would like to give an opinion, but I have to see a pic of the owner first for the best results.... :-)
