i've been a db z owner for 2 weeks now, been really careful when it comes to parking, but this was a heartache last night

i've used the search button, i'm not getting a lip, not getting a new bumper, not taking it to a body shop, i'm a diy kinda guy, so i'd like some input on fixing this heartache, the scratch is really low, so should i use this as a guide and some oem paint:

if you dyi, most likely it will never look the same unless you work at the bodyshop but hopefully you can get it close enough to where its not noticable unless you look for it. sanding, prepping, painting and clearcoat. good luck!
since it is just a small part at the lower corner of your bumper, you can do it yourself. If the color not match 100%, it's still ok since no one will bend down that low to check. DO IT.
bummer, but bubble is right, get the color as close as possible and buff the shiat out of it, nobody will notice it....i have learned(unfortunatly not as hard a lesson as you) that you do not need to pull all the way in, the car is plenty short enough

Looks like some nice sanding, some primer and paint then clearcoat. You should be able to use and airbrush to do all this as it's a small area, if you have never used one find a nice cardboard box to figure out the spray pattern and how to move while painting. As others have said it's most likely not going to be 100% but should be close enough. Oh and you may want to have a body shop do the color match for you and get you the paint so that you get the color as close as possible.

Sorry about your bumper. I did that one time when I first got my car, thankfully it only rubbed the underspoiler.
Now, I pull in about even with sedan/suv rear doors and am still clear in the back.

So thats what snow tires look like..christ..I thought you had an SUV for a second!
I did that to my passenger sideskirt 3 weeks in...blindspots are a *****, but you'll get used to them.

personally ive tried to DIY on some scratches and ive found at least for me the touchup paint doesnt match, i worried myself sick until i just bit the bullet and had a body shop fix it the cheap and simple way
i had them repaint just the surrounding area and burn the clear coat in with the rest instead of reclearing the whole bumper when my clearbra tore a section of paint off my rear bumper. i think i got it fixed for around $175
good luck
