Those complaining about the lack of storage space
I discovered a great place to store stuff like, oh I don't know, about half a cup of dry dog food. The air intake.
Yup, the path to the air filter is straight and short. To boot, there's an nice little recess in front of the air filter to keep the food from sloshing around too much.
I'm sure the Nissan engineers only intended to hold bits of debris and leaves that accidentally get sucked in. However, I assure you that you that it will hold dog food (Iams Large Breed to be specific) quite well without even being noticeable to the driver. If anything, it probably smoothes out the airflow and generates a couple HP.
To store dog food in the air intake, you can either pop the hood, remove the filter and pour the food right in.
Or you can get yourself a very industrious mouse living in your garage, picking up the odd piece of kibble that happens to be lying around, and have him slowly fill your intake over a matter of months.
Yup, great place to store stuff. Hope the little bastard likes peanutbutter.

lol! I've never had a mouse in anyplace I've lived until recently. Saw the little guy a few times out of the corner of my eye. Then I found his "chill spot" behind some books in a bookshelf where he had stored a few crackers and left a pile of turds. Anyways, I evicted him by removing the crackers and haven't seen him since.

But you left the pile of turds, right?

Makes you wonder how many times the dealership service techs saw the dog food during servicing?

Those things can do some damage. I once had a mouse problem in my garage. The power steering in my q45 would go out after about 20 seconds of the car being on. Took it to the dealer, they asked "do you have a rat problem?" I guess they ate through a some wire shorting out the computer. Needless to say I went on a mouse hunt and killed over 4.
