Default Question for those of you with optima redtop batteries

So obviously the battery is too small to use the OEM bracket. What have you guys done to secure the battery in place?

Also, just to verify, I just ordered the 34R...that right?

From what I've read, the Optima Red Top 34R (R = reverse post) works perfect. Just trying to see how people have tied it down...

Since I was unaware that my Optima 34R battery was to small I installed it using the stock G/Z battery hold down (battery fix frame mounting) brackets. They're are the same.

Here's a picture of my set up. I cut some rubber spacers to fit between the fix frame and the top of the battery.

From the Factory Service Manual;
Battery fix frame mounting nut: 4.4 N·m (0.45 kg-m, 39 in-lb)
Battery terminal nut:5.4 N·m (0.55 kg-m, 48 in-lb)

Because yellow top is deep cycle. It's more for being able to have your stereo on when the car is off. Red top is better for strong starts, etc.

Thanks for the response Dave, that helps!
