It was a downer Easter weekend for me because I had my Vortech SC Z ripped off last Thursday night while it was parked in my driveway and I was asleep.

I talked to my dealer on Friday and there are no Zs in inventory across Canada that are equiped like mine so it would be at least a three month wait plus of course I wouldn't have the Vortech.

Now I have to start thinking about other options but I don't know what to buy that will allow me to have similar performance without paying 30K more.

So far I'm leaning towards a Mercedes-Benz SKL350

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

GPS tracking for your next car... that really sucks, a local z owner down here had his turbo Z stolen about week ago...

Just a suggestion but why don't you wait for a 07 skyline? I know it is a bit of a wait but think of the feeling of having a new skyline...

Buy a used Z that looks exactly like ur old Z. Line it with explosives rigged to the ignition. Park the car in ur driveway the same exact way you had it. Conviniently forget ur door open overnight. The theives come back, turn the ignition, and BOOM... no more *******s. Is it expensive? Yes... Is it illegal? Yes... Will justice be dealt? Hell yes... Just an idea...

Dang...seems more and more people getting their Z's car jacked and stolen lately!

I've had 2 cars stolen from me in the past (both Honda's)...I know how it feels.

 

do they have lojack in canada? u should get some kind of gps tracking device on your next car..
the slk350 is Fast! ... its my weekend convertible and i love it... i dont have the manual, but the 7 speed auto transmission is unbelievable..
the z is my daily driver...

 

my heart goes out to you...i hate to say it but i don't know if you will find a car that will say "fill" the gap that your Z left....good luck.....

 

Ummmmm u have insurance correct??? U need to get da money or wateva from that,.. and invest it into a new porsche GT2

I know what that feels like I've had a car stolen from me before that I poured countless hours/money into. Just to have some loser jack it. Can't wait for FF3 to come out, then our cars will be on the A list to be jacked.
