Default clutch issue

hey whats up everyone i have a small issue i don't even know if its a problem but i noticed that the clutch on my 350z is a little hard to shift into i mean the clutch is not slipping or anything and when i have the car in neutral and the clutch peddle is not pressed the car sounds a little rough is that normal i only have 5000 miles on my car

as long as it doesn't make any grinding or clunking noise when you shift, there's nuthin wrong with it...typical Z tranny....a little on the notchy side.

If you are talking about the sound of the tranny when in neutral with the clutch released. This is a normal Z thing. My Roadster does the same thing. The driveshaft also produces noise when going about 25 to 30 MPH and pushing in the clutch, it makes a clunking and winding down sound. Both my old coupe and Roadster made the same sounds. I think this is normal. The notchy gears are normal as well.

^ yup the one in neutral is the throw out bearing, to this day I havent seen a Z that doesnt make that noise, so its normal, but annoying.
