Default front mask

Bought a front Nissan mask at the dealer. After reading the directions and some of the posts, I'm thinking of bringing it back and just taking my chances with front nicks. But my 96 Trans Am is pretty chipped up after 75k miles and I have a bigger front on the 350Z. Saw all the posts on paint film. What is the concensus? What percentage of owners just run without anything.

When I get mine on the 14th I'm driving straight from the dealer to the 3m install garage. I do a lot of highway drining and there are just wayy to many 18 wheelers around here.

What posts did you read about the Nose Mask that would make you take it back? I read a post last week where people loved it. So, I purchased the mask last weekend and I love it so far. I had to take it off once because of rain and it coame off in a jiffy. It's tough getting it on the first time but, remember it's supposed to be a tight fit.

For me it came down to pure economics in my decision to buy the Nissan Mask. $400-$500 for the clear mask just isn't in the cards for me right now. Whereas the Nissan Mask is $99 and I haven't seen another Z with it yet. Good luck in your decision.
