When i push my brake pedal in, i hear a clicking sound when the pedal is pushed slightly in, just before enough pressure is put on the pedal to make the brakes engage...anyone else hear this or have any ideas what it might be??

 

I've noticed this, too. I don't think it's anything to be worried about. I haven't crawled under the dash to take a look, but it sounds and feels like the pedal has 1-2 mm of play before it hits a switch or something as you push it down.

Anyone with knowledge and/or the service manual shed any light?

 

Brake light switch?
