Default Just wondering..... (fuel hose recall question)

I just had my car inspected today and they did the "gas cap pressure test". Now since my car passed, can I assume that my filled hose and or vapor hose, which would be replaced for the recall, are alright? Just wondering..

Default recall fuel lines

I don't know too many details about this recall. I had mine done last week and the service manager said that 'there were cracks in the hoses in all of the cars we've done so far'. I was astounded that cars less than 3 years old had problems with flexible hoses. Incidently mine did not have cracks but I'm glad I had the recall service completed.

I had mine done as well.. mine was so bad though that I actually had little puddles of gas on the ground after a fill

Why don't you just check your VIN and see if it falls into the range of the recall...if it does then take it in and get it done...that way you don't have anything to worry about

They test the seal of the gas cap itself; that'll tell nothing abouth the integrity of the hoses.
