Default Parking in las Vegas

How many of you would drive your Z about 500 miles to Vegas, then another couple hundred to the Grand Canyon in Arizona, then back to Vegas and feel safe about leaving it in a Hotel parking lot in Vegas for a 3 night stay??

I'm going to Vegas and the GC'yn for the 4th weekend for vacation and I would like to take my Z but don't think I would be able to sleep and be parinoid all the time, that some drunk is going to tap dance on it.

Not to mention a couple thousand miles of dead bugs and gee how many more rock chips???

Completely safe. Don't know exactly where you're staying in Vegas, but most hotels have free valet parking, in covered, protected lots. I drove from LA to Vegas a couple of weeks ago, and outside of it needing a very good wash when I got back, it was in perfect shape and I had a lot of fun. ENJOY YOUR Z! It's there to be driven.

That reminds me of ferris Bueller's Day off movie I didn't even think about that, till you brought it up

Be staying at The Luxor

Can I park there and keep my key or do they have to keep it? I would feel better knowing some kid's not draggin' Honda's while I'm loosing my a$$ on the slots.. yes I said SLOTS!!!

No offense, but I'm sure there are faster cars in valet they could be messing with.

just do self park, there is lots of it and it's free.

They have pretty good security at the big hotels so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I love the Z, but its not a high priced exotic. Drive it and enjoy it. I wouldn't worry about it.

Default Parking In Vegas

I had driven several times to Vegas and stayed at the Hard Rock.

I do valet and then cab it so I can go to clubs, gamble and booze it.

I have never had any problems leaving my car there. I guess it helps that I have owned my car for over three years.

There are alot nicer cars in Vegas than 350Z's, I would think the Ferrari's, Viper's, Lambo's, etc. would be more of a target than a 350Z.

Go to Ft. Lauderdale Flordia sometime, I saw two identical F430's beside each other at a light.

Its no big deal. Just give the valet guy $20 when you give him the car. This whole town runs off of tips. Besides, if anything were to happen, hotels are very good about fixing the damage. They know that you paid them back for it already on the slot machines

Well not all valet are trust worthy. This one time I saw a valet reversing a G35 into a stall. This G35 had a apexi exhaust but the valet didnt know and backed that exhaust into the cement block things dont know what its called. Smashed the whole exhaust up into the rear bumper. Guy moved forward to check the damage, yells "Awww F@#*" then tries to bend it back w/ no luck. Well this is here in Hawaii so i dont know about LV. Just a heads up not all valet are good drivers.

I was just up there this past weekend. I stayed at Venetian hotel and had my z valet park thinking it was safe. Well when it was time to leave. As I was waiting for my car it pulls up and right away I notice a door ding on my passinger side.

Yeah, I agree not all valets are trustworthy and can drive.. but they usually know what they're doing at nice hotels in Vegas.

i would not valet it but rather park it in the public parking areas in the many hotels there. i'm sure it'll be safe, the only thing to worry about are door dings.

I can tell for sure the GC will be packed on the 4th of July. Very busy there during summers. Get there early in morning for good parking space.

see i hear ya. i would like to take a trip like that with my Z. Vegas is awesome, the valet is really good, i guess if you could deal with a couple possible door dings then all is good. they really arnt all that expensive to get removed anyway.
