Default Silverstone 35th Anniv. Production numbers?

Does anybody know how many Silverstone 35th anniversary editions were built in the U.S., world?

Before I get flamed I already did a search for this and couldn't find anything.

And you won't find anything either. Nissan does not publish production numbers by color or trim (i.e. Touring, Track, 35th anniv). Supposedly, there were going to be 1000 35th AEs produced for sale in the US. It's anybodys guess how many of each color.

Nissan publishes official numbers by model on this site:

Do a search, I think there are 188 Silverstones, and some other numbers...

I've tried searching but the only numbers I could find were 257 Black 35th's. If there are 188 Silverstones, 257 black, there should be around 555 yellow. Does this sound right.

"Production reports indicate there have been 678 Anniversary Zs produced starting 12/04/04 to date (10/07/05). Numbers are: 188 silverstone, 231 yellow, and 259 were black. When comparing the Anniversary VIN Prefix to a regular Z, there is no difference. The trim code ( AE) is the only way to distinguish an Anniverary 350Z from regular production"

This came to me from another board member who got it from a Dealer Operations Manager, Central Texas, Nissan North America.

I changed my search and found that too. I'm kind of surprised that there where that few built.

Are those numbers for just the USA? I can't imagine the global numbers would be that low.
