all these "VDC helped save my life" threads.. what about..
what about just having :
Traction Control System (TCS)
and
Viscous Limited Slip Differential
those 2 are standard on the enthusiast model.. so no VDC unless you ger the Touring model...
so my question is.. ive seen 0932043920 threads about how VDC saved someones life and what not.. what about those who dont have VDC and only have TCS and the limited slip diff. ? has that helped anyone too, or is it a waste?

In Cali, I don't think VDC is as important as in snow/ice country assuming your not a complete idiot behind the wheel. TCS & LSD will help in panic stops & rain.
By the way, unless its changed in 06, only manny tranny Touring models have VDC; auto does not.

I have an 06 base which has neither of these options and have not had any handling issues, and just to let you know, I "drive" my Z....I have had some scares but no amount of technology would have helped me there....for some it helps, for others it does not matter....i think it depends on your confidence as a driver, if you need driving aids then spend the money for them....I would say if you are going to race your Z then get all the aides you can afford, for a street model...ehhh, not so much
