Default Just got a "unsafe lane change" ticket in the Z

Apparently the highway patrol thought I cut someone off too close to get into a lane (I may or may not have) on the highway and gave me an "unsafe lane change" ticket. Anyone ever get out of one of these before?

I got one a while back for merging onto the interstate before the end of the solid white line. Didn't fight it though, just paid it and let it go.

points are points ladies and gentlemen. I'm sure your insurance doesnt care what it is. See if you can get it downgraded to unsafe driving.

that sucks.
i'd be more pissed about the insurance going up than paying the ticket.
the cops here in miami are pretty chill, that or i've been pretty fortunate.

i dont think an unsafe lane change is points man...bc i got speeding and they gave me that instead and it was a 50$ fine. And id rather get an unsafe lane change that a reckless driving bc points arent points ladies and gentleman. You get points for drag racing...i believe 9 in my state. Lets say u got 3right turn on reds...which is 3 here. an insurance company would look at what ur tickets are. not just how many points...good day

F-ing california cops. In the San Jose Mayor race, one of the candidates wants to put cameras in high crime areas to "monitor them", addding to our Orwellian 1984 big brother state (and giving up more of our rights ala George Bush).

How about having these ***** cops do their jobs, earning the power the public has granted them by patroling these areas? Nah, instead they'd rather extort the public with highway tickets and watch crime from afar.

Why ticket instead of fighting crime? Because it would mean they actually have to work for a living, instead of collecting their fat $100,000 for life paychecks. Of course, fighting crime doesn't pay for that salary, but you and me (who pose no threat and are easy targets) fund it instead.

San Jose is in for a crap-storm of crime with all the underlying hispanic gangs. Cops are running scared because deep down they're just bullies.

Where have you been?? Since 9-11 there are cameras EVERYWHERE where I live. They put up big metal poles with all kinds of cameras on the top pointing every which direction, mainly along the interstates. They started off around a federal base to get the people used to it, and then a few months later spread them all throughout the entire city. They did it without the publics consent or without any kind of accountability. Who funded this incredible waste of resources? Who's watching? What does domestic transportation have to do with international terrorism?

I'll take an unsafe lane change ticket anyday over a speeding ticket. It does not count as a point. Sucks still because it's based on the officers pov but I guess just pay for it. Also better then a fixit ticket too.
