Yeah, i seen you out there off of Livingston Ave. just south of County line road. I couldn't believe it. You must have been hauling *** because your car was on the far side of the pond. It looked funny because all you could see was the hatch and the rear wiper on! Well, it did rain this morning, so i guess the brakes didn't do too well! The car was chrome silver wasn't it!

I ended up climbing out of the window and swimming to shore. From there I watched it sink. SUCKS!!!!!! The fireman and police got a kick out of it though. They called a dive team to hook it up to a tow truck and yank it out. I did not have a camera, so there are not any pics.

Hopefully I will get another.

PEACE OUT!
Was this on Livingston about 10:30-11:00 today? If so I saw the cops and the car, wasn't sure what kind of car as I could only see the hatch but I was saying that looks like the same hatch as my car.

That lesson goes for children and seniors as well.

if you choose to swerve to avoid hitting something thats in the road then typically its considered an at-fault/loss of control accident. if you hit the object and you had the right of way then you likely won't be found at fault (with people it depends on your state laws regarding pedestrians/bicyclist).

At least you can find some humor in it, and you are okay of course.

Yea, that was me this morning. Bad way to start off a nice day. About 20 poeple drove by as I swam, and none of them stopped. Finally a girl stopped and gave me a towel and her pretty smile.

I'm a little impassive of the whole situation because there is nothing at this point I can do about it. Why cry over my car, when I survived and have a wonderful woman waiting at home for me.

BTW, I noticed a black dog on the side of the road a mile down the road this afternoon. Maybe he was paid justice?!

I just installed a box w/ 2 10's and an amp I purchased from a forum member. The sounded great until submerged. The body on the car is still in great shape, but I think everything else is shot. Someone at the body shop already stole the subs and the amp. I had to call HCSO on them. I took my cargo net and s2k antenna off, but that's all.

Thanks for the well wishes and kind comment. I know swerving is a bad move, but so scooping up a hugedog on my hood, and having fly thru the windshield.

ANY WHO....GOD BLESS!

I killed a family of three racoons with my Z. You can imagine how much blood and guts were on the underside of my car. My traction control switched on due to the rear wheels slipping on racoon guts.

BTW if anyone local to me wants the cargo net and s2k antenna, you can have it(FREE). I just don't want to ship anything.

I forgot to say that I was going 40mph due the wet conditions and my lack of a tcs. The car "floated" to the far side of the pond and did a lazy 180 in the process. The dive team said it was typical.? Hmm. They also said that they have pulled 6 other cars/trucks from the same location. Guardrail?

Bonus points if you hit a senior citizen with a walker or wheelchair.
Oh, and little kids count as double points because they are so small and quick.

Dude I def would have stopped but by the time I rolled by there where a ton of cops and the diver guy had already suited up and was walking over to the pond. Just glad you're ok man, cars can be replaced. Was odd I only saw the rear wiper and window yet I was pretty sure what kinda car it was. When I got back to my office I was telling one of the guys what I saw then a little later I saw your post. I was like no way couldn't be.
