Wow, that's quite a story...I do like your outlook though.

I suppose the "pond" was fairly deep.

never EVER swerve for small animals like dogs/cats/etc.......hit it and hope for minor body damage at worst. swerving almost always causes more problems.

can any one fathom the pain of watching your Z sink in to the murky depths of a pond, right before your very eyes? i think id break down and they would have to cary me away.

any way just about two days ago a possim did run out in front of me. I had cruse control set and just said. dum P.O.S....then thump kathump.
saidly i dont even waste my brakes now unless its big enough to do any damage. and or make my car smell like burning road kill.

I had a 2001 VW Passat before I got my Z, one night was on the highway late at night and a racoon comes out in front of me. I was doing 70 MPH and went to get in the other lane as I saw him, well he decides to go there also. Few loud thumps and such later I am still cruising along. Make a long story short I ended up with $2700 in damage to fix my car. Sometimes you just can't win.

lol, i had a friend who hit a dog during their driving test. i dont think hitting animals gets any worse than that. next time run that sucker over. when you swerve you tend to hit them anyway, if you drive straight they will more than likely get out of the way. (hit squirrels trying to get out of the way of them, never hit anything when i keep on course.)

As if there was a doubt, the ins company totalled it today. I went for a final visit at the body shop. it was very hard to see such a clean, perfect, beautiful, fast machine sitting there disabled!

The Z was by far the most responsive, fun to drive car I haveeven been in. My father has a BMW M coupe. That thing halls a$$, but it is not nearly as predicable around a highspeed, tight turn as my Z was.

I got a great deal on it, so unless I find the same, I won't get another right away. However, I love smokin' guys that paid 3, 4, or 5 x's as much for their sports cars.

I recently read a post about someones recent Z perchase and a few "dislikes" they had. I was thinking about it today, and realized that the reason I go the car is because it pleased me in every way other cars have not. I loved the performance of couse, but even the little things like sun visors w/ the little extendors, great bolsters in te seats, lots of little compartments, tons of available quality mods, the little marker lights up front, seperate battery compartment under the hood, "auto up" windows (not just auto down
", good stock exhaust, and so on!

My little sister has a bumper sticker that says "Drive it Like you stole it!". I have always beleived that moto. I work hard to buys things I like, and I play with them like the advertisments, and specs say I should.

BTW, will Progressive cover after market audio system if I have te receipts?

I would think as long as you have receipts they should cover it. So you going to get a new one? I held off on getting mine until my other lease was almost up. Then I drove an 04 then the 06, also looked at some other cars. In the end driving it was all it took.

I can't imagine another car that will bring me as much joy for as little as what this car costs. It has a pefect bablance of everything I wanted. Now the only problem is I keep think what mods do I want. Hey if you still wanna get rid of your net let me know, would be more them willing to buy it off you, almost bought one the other day when I went to pick up my plates from the dealer.
