Default Z vs. the FLOOD

I live on the east coast and we have been getting hammered with rain the last couple of days. I was on my way to work this morning and I noticed traffic was a little more congested than usual I really thought nothing of it because I suspected it was just the rain slowing everything down. I was wrong. I was heading down a non-congested road and of course there was big SUV in front of me so I couldn't see anything. Next thing I know, my Z is flying through a 40ft long "pond" which is 10"-12" deep. I made it through with flying colors, although I was freaked out. I then proceeded to hit several more "ponds" on my way to work. I come to find out that much of the state experienced heaving flooding. I must say I am impressed, but I will be much more careful when the torrential downpours come. Time to find a beater.

as long as you never let off the gas pedal you will be fine. If you get water in the tail pipe your a "sitting duck" in those ponds.

good luck in the future!

No CAI, not yet, but this looks like a good reason to get the NISMO CAI. Then again I really don't plan on taking anymore trips through small street lakes.

When I first read your subject line, the first thing I thought of was your Z driving through some weird underground alien structure being attacked by and running over hundreds of little exploding alien things and creepy aliens that just keep coming and coming regardless of how many you kill.
