Nope, all TCS does is cut power to the rear wheels when the tires spin. It doesnt affect fuel economy on or off.

Unless you do burn outs every chance you get of course!

But yeah, in it self, it won't affect fuel economy.

Yep. You shouldn't see any noticeable difference at all no matter what.

For the first time today I realize what TCS means. I turned it off and tried to do a mini "drift" in the rain (in 2nd) making a left hand turn...god...i lost control: first i ended up facing the curb but countersteered and saved it, and then it just swerved facing the other curb...i crapped myself. I wonder what the people that were behind me thought; luckily no cars passed me and everything ended up being ok...

Do you guys use the handbrake when you drift to regain control?

No e-brake ever to regain rear traction !

The rear end kicked out because you were sending too much power to the wheels.

Just lift the throttle a tiny bit, look where you wnat to go and steer that way.

Welcome to driving a 300hp RWD car !

Gotta be careful. Don't practice stuff like that on the streets. Go to a parking lot or something that is empty and learn the limits slowly and carefully.
