Default Does 350Z need rear wing & cost of accessories

I saw and drove the car for the first time on Saturday - it blew me away!!! The car is everthing I expected and more. Only drove the auto - my manual arrives in 4 weeks.

What bothered me was the cost of carpets and mudspats $507 US!!! (860 Aus $) - that is over the top. The carpets had a metal "Z" badge and three white spots - otherwise nothing special - the mud spats were color coded but still....

Looking at the car I did'nt think a rear wing would improve it - has anyone got a rear wing?

I'm in the "Nissan-really-got-it-right-club" with regard to the Zzzzz design. Why mess with perfection?

A poll on this site showed about 2/3 like the spoiler/body kits; 1/3 prefer Zzzz as delivered by Nissan. Hard to believe 2/3s of some good folk got it wrong!

By the way, carpets & mudguards are more like 250 bucks here;
sounds to me the dealers "down under" are trying to smoke our Australian mates!

Factory spoiler gives extra downforce according to Nissan. But i like it. It completes the back end without being too flashy. Here is a thread with pics of it on chrome silvers...

The carpets are a nice touch to the interior. But its something you can do without. Same with the mud guards. I had them on for a couple weeks and then took them off cause they dont flow smoothly with the Z.

BTW, I went to Australia a couple years back and it was COLD!

You probably went to Melborne - it has all four seasons in one day!!

Perth at the moment is very hot - over 100 Farenheit!

I, too, think the factory spoiler trims out the back very well. In my sig file below there is a link to see pics of my car, with both the spoiler and splash shields - or whatever you guys call them down there. It's a great car.

cheers,
