Default Very odd Question

See the thing is I've been tring to find a nice 350z for a while now. But have yet to find one. I afraid that one FATF3 comes out, that the price of the z will rise, scince this is the main car in the movie. Or maybe im an idiot.

Honestly, I dont think the movie will have any bearing on the price of the Z. If anything the price might drop due to the older owners feeling like their Z were cheapend in the movie and are now driving every 15 yr old ricers wet dream car. BEN

yeah - that movie is a crock. thing that probly will go up now is all the aero parts or anything that is done to the car.

not the car itself. i duno

i'm not ricin it out if i put tt kit, HKS exhaust, and top secret, super g force wide body kit on it am i?
well if it is ii'm sorry - it looks nice.

I doubt a movie will have any impact on used Z prices.

ther will be no impact because the 350z is still in production... the only reason the supra's price went up was because they were rare and hard to come by...

but since the 350z is brand new at 26k starting (give or take a lil) i doubt it will go higher than that ..u can find a used 2003 with rather low miles for $19,000 ..ive seen some around 17-18 as well..i highly doubt the price will rise back up to 25000 if you can get one brand new for a lil more...

plus they g35 will keep the price down on the 350z.. i personally would take a g35 over a 350 if they were identical in pricing...

It goes more about how rare a car is than popular. And since there a lot Z's used and new I don't think it will be a problem.

If demand function depends on Q=f(P1, P2, Income), then based on the demand curve, the linear ecuation is Q=z+xPx+yPy+zI; where Px is the price of the Z, Py is the price of another associated good and I is the Income. So, if the demand of the car increses, price of the Z increases as well. The question is: will the demand on the Z increase? I think it will. IMHO. Why? Because at this moment you need a conosseur in the car stuff to fully appreciate the Z and its purpose. The movie will open up eyes that were not there before. It will acquire new believers. Probably even turbo freaks meaning Evos, Stis, Eclipses, whatever, will learn to appreciate them for what they are. Maybe even respect them, even knowing that stock to stock they are faster than us. Hell, anyone is faster than a Boxter, and that doesn't mean is not a great car, because it is.
