Can someone give me information on what years the factory shift light is avalible on, and if you needed to get a certain option package to have it? Also any info on how it works / adjusts would be greatly appreciated. Inquiring minds want to know

you need a 6 speed. Automatics have a LCD displaying what gear you are in. P-R-N-D

as to how it adjusts you use the button on the right side of your gauge cluster to set it to any desired RPM and when the rpms reach that point, well i think you can guess what happens next.

The shift light is near useless in day light - it's too small and too low.

Small detail about the RPM you set the shift light to.

The light will start to blink 500rpm before what you've set it to. And go solid at that rpm.

It's a neat thing.

I love mine, it's set at 6700 rpm, so I got just enough time to change up before the cutoff.

All '06 MT's come with the factory shift light. The earlier model MT's that came with the shift light are enthusiast models and up. i dont think the older base models came with shift light....i may be wrong.
