So here is where it ended. They did the gas hose recall thing. No charge, no problem. Unfortunately, my tire problem is not covered?!! Evidently, before they will replace my tires, the problem has to get worse. Not their exact words, but basically, I have to bring it back later to see if it "qualifies" at that point. They said they went ahead and realigned the car (no new parts). Great. This does me no good. I still have worn tires. I still have loud road noise. The Nissan guy actually said some road noise is normal for a sport "soft" (stock) tires. Is he feeding me full os BS or what?? What do you guys think?

I feel very strongly that if I contact the right person at Nissan North America then they will make the dealership replace my tires. But I need that correct person. Who should I contact?? Suggestions.

Me and my brother both bought 2004 305z Roadsters around the same time, He got the fuel line recall notice in the mail and I didnt, after checking with a dealership my car does not have the problem but my brothers roadster does.. Only difference is his is a Enthusiast automatic and mine is a Touring manual...

So not all 350z between 2003-2004 had the fuel line problem...

As far as the tires go, they are sport tires which are made with soft rubber compound for better traction and will wear out faster then normal tires.. If you get 20k miles out of your tires and your an agressive driver then your doing pretty good... I don't think anyone on here has gotten more then 25k miles out of there stock tires..

Strange, I have an '04 Touring and evidently I have the fuel hose recall. Maybe the difference in a coupe and a roadster.

Anyone else think maybe I do not have the feathering? Maybe it's just normal wear and tear? Could the noise be normal sports car tire wear and tear?

ive had my car for about 10k miles, now 30 on it altogether, and was thinking i should probaboly rotate teh tires. well it was on a lift for another reason and i noticed my rear tires are pretty worn, as they shoyuld be, but the fronts are almost brand new looking. im wondering if the original owner didnt have them replaced already? is there anyway to find that out, i have his name and stuff but i'd feel kinda intrusive to call someone i dont know halfway across thw country.
