The Z as a 2 seater is fine, but the first weekend I had it I forgot it had no back seat and I drove all the way out somewhere to pick up a buddy and already had another friend with me, I completely forgot i had no other seat.

Other than that Ive done alot of runnin around in the Z since ive got it and it is fine for 2 people and for luggage and groceries.

I'd say its pretty darn good on gas mileage as well, does great as a daily driver.

I am just out of college and bought a Z. Great car if... you don't have kids, and you don't have a wife/girlfriend who isn't a "worry wart." At your age, the Z would be perfect.

I use it daily, but I don't have crap to lug around and/or other people very often.

I say if you seriously need a back seat get a G coupe it has a back seat and its bigger then your trans am's back seat! It has the same engine same exhaust note but there's just a little loss in power (I think) but its still part of the fam!

Works great as a primary car. I'm not one of those people who need a station wagon because of its "practicality" (not that there's anything wrong with that)

if you have a family it sux ***, unless you have a beater.
sux for hauling anything of siginificant size. its a very impractical car overall. if your just trying to get from point a to point b its a helluva fun ride. if your looking for some practicality, you get zero with the Z.

Thats why i just picked up an Explorer 4x4 with leather sunroof all the goodies for $4,000. Its great to have a beater along with the Z just in case. If space is a problem for you, then dont buy the Z if you cant also afford a beater.
