hmm... is the 2006 base bad for racing compaire to 2006 track?

Well, the track model was built for the track while the base model was built for the base. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Depends on the type of racing really. In a straight line, the LSD will help on the launch slightly and maybe propel the Track model to .1-.2 second quick 1/4 miles. On a road course the LSD will help a lot, as well as the brembo brake package. The base will come a few seconds shy per lap of the track model...

The base Z will still outrun most other cars on a road course, however...
