Question on value of 350z.
OK.. this is going to be difficult for me to word but I will try my best.
If you do oil changes and minor fixes (Like engine stuff, not mods... like replacing stuff that needs to be replaced). Does your cars value go down a bit more if you try to sell it? Also, if you take it to the dealership everytime and they have files on the car (Like papers proving that they did the work and nothing is wrong with the car), would the selling price go up? Dam i hope yall understand this question cuz if I get enough money offered to sell back.. I'm gonna try to get a G35.

hmmmm....due to public perception dealer papers are more valuable, do they add value to the car...eh, tough one....if you have receipts from all the work you have done and the person buying the car has half a brain then you should be able to get the same price as if the dealer did the work....i know thats sounds redundant but does it make sense ??

Doesn't make a difference unless you sell it privately. The potential buyer might see it as a plus and be willing to offer more money. Other than that, it doesn't mean squat. Dealers are going to give you trade in value based on current market price, blue book, mileage, ect..ect...

depends on the person buying the car. but there are quite a few horror stories floating around here of how dealerships have messed up cars or have not actually done the work they were supposed to do on the car. so.....its tough to say i guess

Why are you selling?The paper work is great,it shows you've maintained your car.Try to sell private,you'll get more.The radio---tune in a 24hr.News station,and a soft music station,leave the rest empty.PUT THE A/C on low,a small breeze of cool air is relaxing.Test drive,you ride shotgun,so they don't abuse her.Hope I helped.

Save your receipts from the oil you buy for oil changes, and note what brand and weight it is if the receipt doesn't show it. Same for anything else you do. Keep all your papers together in the folder with the owner's manual or your insurance papers.
As davidv says, a well-maintained car will bring more money than a poorly maintained one, but you will need to prove it somehow.
