Default Low Oil Pressure

I have an 06' 350 Z with 500 mi. My oil pressure at idle is about 15 psi. Car is idling at about 700rpm. When the AC is on it idles a bit higher and the pressure is closer to 30 psi. Does this seem like a problem to anyone? I am very concerned. Oil level is fine. I was thinking of changing the oil and putting in a heavier weight but it does't seem like I should have to do that on a brand new car. I have to admit that I have taken it over 4000 rpm a couple of times, could I have ruined this motor already?

its ok i just got my 2006 grand touring roadster 2 weeks ago and i thought there was something wrong with my oil pressure since its only 15 psi at idle and when you start giving it gas it goes up, i checked all 350z are like that
so no problem just have fun!

Don't think so much!! Of course your oil pressure is going to go up with engine speed, the oil pump is crank driven And if you switch to a heavier oil your pressure will go up throughout the rpm range. And don't worry about having taken it over 4K rpms, you're already past your initial break-in, just try not to do it again til ~1,000 miles. You'll be fine.

From the factory service manual:

At idle: >14psi
2000rpms: >43psi

Looks like you're OK.
