Thumbs up Temp. fix for holes

Damn dealer punched holes in the front for the license plate, in the meantime, I made a temp. fix to them
Thanks to fahrenheit350 for the part.
They're Hillman Ford Push Fasteners that I picked up at Lowes for like $.80

Is that a picture of it fixed? Looks like you need to do some color matching.

Nothing kills the clean lines of the Z like a licence plate screwed to the front bumper.
First thing I did to my Z was to pull it off, get the holes filled/painted and a clear bra installed.

Nylon plugs + touch-up paint FTW.

I live in Texas and I've never had a plate on my front bumper. The cops don't usually pull you over for just that and if they do, they will only give you a warning. Most Z owners around where I live don't have it, either. Take the plate off. Trust me, it looks better and you won't get in trouble.

I got a citation for no front plate in Richardson. Almost got another one, but I had a receipt proving that I had been to the dealer to order the bracket and screws (300ZX days), so the cop let it go.

No problem dude. Temp fix until you either get a new bumper or get your current one repainted... which won't be too long since Nissan's paint sucks.

Damn that sucks. I've never gotten a citation for no license plate. I've been pulled over twice and both got off on a warning. My excuse was that my bumper has been repainted just days ago so the paint was in the drying process. It worked and he let me go.

i got a ticket in my civic just last week for not having a front plate..i told the ******* cop that i didn't have holes drilled in the front and that i would take care of it and he still wrote me up...luckily i had an OLD pic of my car with the plate on so i took it to court, showed the judge, was wearing my badge that identified me as a city employee, and she dismissed it. that badge has saved me hundreds of times. wooOO =]

Touch up paint won't match. I have the touch up paint for that color. When it dries, it turns out lighter.
