i have nothing against ricks car, i never said anything about it. i just dont like the fact some guy (imjdoggie) thinking he knows it all and cant back up his claims. i have no problem with cars being faster than mine. he claimed there are numerous Z's on this site that are faster, all i asked was him to show me. that is all. which he isnt, this is just for my own knowledge because im mainly into american cars (except for my supra) and i dont know how fast these Z's can get

doesnt really satisfy my personal needs. can you at least give me something to work with? i mean come on, i have a viper, ford gt, supra and have a z06 on order. dont you think i have them to compensate for something?? If knew how fast a Z was, I would have bought one instead. I did some research just now and read that Nissan just put one of those god sent Z engines in a solid block of titanium and drove it full speed. It was sooo fast the air friction heated up the alloy and the vortexes it created by going so fast formed and molded the Z into the body you see now!! Its arrow dynamics are sound. NASA even tests all of their space craft componets on the Z before they use it on the shuttle, because the Z is the only thing in the world that can reach a g force eleventybajillion timesgreater than a rocket. God damn, thats a fast car!

+1 on the viper sounding like a 5 cylinder. It just sounds like a very bassy 5 cylinder- and very loud...have heard several in person. Not a bad sound but definatley not the lopey or high pitched sound you'd expect from a v10 that fires like a normal V engine. The viper v10 is however ultra smooth cuz of how it fires.

Performance motorsports in n.y. also has a grip of 400+ rwhp cars

Numerous others. For the time being the vq block is still being worked on, but we're seeing the potential very early with built motors + turbo. As is true with any car with that much rwhp, traction is our biggest problem. Most z guys with turbo are safely in the 400 rwhp range, and some with higher boost and lightly built motors are easily in the 500 rwhp range.

why cant we respect fast cars? yours is fast, we have our fast ones..
