Do not buy from Norwood Nissan!!!
Thank you guys for all the help on deciding if the 350Z was for me or not! I put an offer online for $35k for a 2005 yellow Anniversary 350Z (AT) in the Norwood showroom. They called me to tell me they accepted the offer. I asked them if it had navigation and they said yes. I get there and there is no navigation! I tried to get them to go lower than $35k, but the manager would not budge. Don't get me wrong, $35k is a good price and that was my offer on the internet, but this guy was extremely rude about it. Not to mention the pressure the salesperson gave me on the phone call to put a deposit down. He basically threw me out of the dealership! I told him thanks for wasting my time, that he should adjust the price on the internet down from $41k, and that I was going to buy the Acura. I want a brand new Z with navigation in yellow (my favorite), orange, or blue for under $35k. So for now, my Z dreams are up in smoke. There are just too many expenses that go along with it like snow tires/rims etc.
This is my second run in with Norwood (Warwick, RI). The first time, my dad put a deposit on a Maxima with the condition they put a spoiler on. Went to pick it up, no spoiler, no deal.
I am going to go with the Acura TSX. It cannot be beat for 30k fully loaded. I am sure someday it will make a great beater. What kind of stripes do you think I should put on it?
Thanks again for the help! You can learn much more here than in any magazine!

If a 350Z was the car you wanted, you will regret buying the Acura even if you get the Navigation. Search some more, buy from out of State, but don't settle for another car because of a detail like Sat-Nav. You can retrofit it later on should you wish to do so...

There weren't that many 35th made and probably about half of them came with navigation. I too looked around for one and couldn't find one so I ended up retrofitting the system in dash and ended up with a much (much) better system for a few dollars more than the $2000 the option adds. Those few dollars got rid of the bloze system and replaced it with far better components.

I do deserve some flak for giving up! However, I plan to make a final decision on a car this weekend. The aftermarket nav option is duely noted and a definite consideration. Also, I could wait a month or so for the 2007 buzz to start.
Driving in the snow is major concern. Plus, you guys bought your Zs before gas cost $3+.
I tried a lot of cars, Mustang, Charger, Monte SS, 3 Series, A4 ...
I really do love the TSX (despite the lack of style). I totally comfortable in buying it, now that I got the Z out of my system.
