lol, 2 on the same wheel. I did them both within the first 1000 miles, damm I was pissed, I feel your pain! The second one took a nice chunk off. Adjusting from a sedan to a sports car wasn't too hard, but damn the staggered setup threw me a bit. I never curbed the Maxima the Z replaced once in over 3 years.

No rash on these wheels. When I hit a curb I tend to bend my wheels so they have to be replaced! I have not scratched a wheel but I have bent 6 so far (3 each in 2 accidents).

Unfortunately I curbed one this weekend, taking a turn to tight and bounce the rear out. Got about a 1/2 inch rub! So pissed my new babies tarnished!

How do you people get driver's licenses if you can't avoid a loooong 4" tall stationary strip of concrete?

Of course, my friend. We are here to serve. There, there. I too, know what it is like to have curb rash.

1st night I had the car.. parallel park.. 1" rash on front right wheel. I'm the only one who has noticed it, thankfully.

2nd night, I clipped a fiberglass ladder hanging in my garage - it felland scraped up the outer wheel well on the passenger side. Again, I'm the only one who has noticed it.

I don't recall that being on the drivers test

And it's pretty easy when McDonalds gives you a 5 foot wide path, curbed on both sides with a fukin 90 degree turn through the drive-thru

No! I'm waaaay too nervous about hitting the curb to go near! It also helps that I have sticky tires and the steering wheel is communicative enough where I can feel the change of asphalt/concrete so I know when to stop.

Yes.

All 4 rims have some curb rash. Not my doing, however, as I bought the car used in 2004. I'm thinking it was a woman driver...

Seriously, All 4 rims! :wtf:

Yeah, scuffed one the first week I bought the car (kinda difficult to place the corners on this car before you're used to it). I was parking along the curb ni Chicago, on a narrow street, so I was trying to get close to protect my baby from getting clipped by some idiot driver, and I turned into the idiot driver and put a 1 1/2" scuff on my front rim. Then, last Friday night, pouring down rain, waiting to make a right hand turn from a stop sign, and bounced my front rim off the curb. I was so pissed. Fortunately, it's the same rim that had the rash from before. Still pissed though. Feel your pain.
