I don't know anything about my Z.
I'm ashamed to admit it. I literally bought the car on a whim, and never got a chance to sudy up on the different packages. Don't get me wrong, i love the car and will treat it like a national treasure, but i never got to read up on what makes my Performance Edition different than the other models.
What makes it a PE? And more imporantly, how should i maintain this car as opposed to the other models?

No big deal as far as maintenance is concerned. Put gas in the car and drive it. By the time you need to replace the coolant or brake fluid, you will have it all figured out.

hahaha this thread title has been one of the funniest ive seen in a while.
Yea man the Z is a great car to have and you made a great choice in picking it. Compared to cars in its price range its the only one i would go with.

Well, i bought a 2004.5 model with 9k miles, so it's been broken in already.
I began using syntetic oil in my 3rd gen Altima once it hit 45k miles, and it seems like many here are suggesting using synthetic in the Z as well, correct?
I noticed nime has a Stillen exhaust and cold air intake; are those exclusive to the PE package, or did i luck out?

You got lucky!! Someone added those. There are several trim models. For 2004 there were 5 trims: Base, Enthusiast, Performance,Touring, and Track. The Touring has leather and Navi. The Track has copper Brembo brakes. The Performance has VDC and TCS plus tire pressure sensors (so does the Touring and Track).
Congrats on becoming a Z owner!!
