Does anyone know where the Oil Temperature gauge is located in the car? I assume its built into the digital readout part of the 3 pod cluster. Is this true? I was happy to hear Nissan including this gauge in the car, as oil temp is critical to a engine as oil pressure.

I may be off on this, but isn't the radiator temperature a good indication of the oil temp? since the radiator is a cooling system the oil and coolant should be at or close to the same temp

Do NOT Search for it
In the CD it was listed as an option on the #1 center dash pod/computer readout. But after reading all the tests so far, no one has mentioned it. If it is there, it would be dumb, as one could only choose between oil temp or the shift lights.
Oil temp is a much more important indication of the engines internal temp than water temp. I have both on my Jetta GLX, and the oil takes 2 or 3 miles longer to reach 200 degrees. I also had oil temp gauges on my race car and my Lotus, and the same held true. I don't want to beat an old horse or one doesn't do major physical work without warming up the muscles. Ditto a High Po motor.
Lots of reasons but I'm a crappy typist, so I'll end here.

I don't understand your post. Oil pressure will/can be high even with a cold engine. Oil pressure has no(or little) bearing on the expansion rate of the rotating /or non moving pieces of the engine. I'll wait till all internal engine parts are "warm & comfortable" with each other before I ask it to perform.(I could interject a male/female thing, but I won't) The oil temp is the best way to monitor this.
