I know this hasn't been opened for a long time but i have been experiencing the same issues with my AT. I have an 03 Enthus. with 50,xxx miles. First, I use the manual mode all the time!!! Only if i get a phone call do i not. Second, I feel and hear the same pop that has been stated, but it is not so much the sound that worries me it's that the AT almost jumps out of the car when it happens. I also experience this mostly, when i'm DOWN shifting from 3rd to 2nd. Also when coming to a stop and then taking off, the car doesn't shift lower then 3rd gear. I have been at 6 mph and it still had not shifted to 2nd. I have always had to downshift into 2nd. third, I have taken this to the stealership many times and could never get it to act up when someone was in the car with me. [I] have been having the problem for about 20xxx miles and have changed the fluid 3, yes, 3 times!!! Obviously i am now without a warranty, but don't know if they may still take care of it b/c of the amount of times i did take it in... let me know what you think....

wow great, i always wondered why it shifted so hard into 3rd.

Speeds up?? No no - maybe that is your perception - but the car should not speed up....test it - look at the speedometer - check again.

My a/t did that when I was test driving the car, its normal. My friends 05 m/t does the same thing when he shifts from 2nd to 3rd.

yea i took my 03 to the dealership 10 times for the hard downshift from 3rd to 1st in manual mode... it does i real bad if stay in 2nd to come to stop...they said it was normal and nothing was wrong with it

get my g back with new motor thursday... finally... havent really driven in since 1st of oct...
