Non-HID Headlight Assembly same as HID?

Non-HID Headlight Assembly same as HID?
I have HID now, but need to replace the assembly. Bulbs and ballasts still work fine. Could I just buy the assembly from an non-hid headlight and transfer the hardware, wire-harness, etc...?

call up the nearest dealership and ask them what the part numbers for the non-hid assembly and the hid assembly are...if they're the same, then they're the same...if they're different, and they're different....

they are not available only as assembly's...
there are 2 part numbers for each headlight... w/ HID or not...
1 is just the housing w/ all electronics on it w/out bulbs
2 is the complete assembly (only thing added is bulbs)
weither its HID or not...
