Didnt say it was the smartest thing to do, but its just what happens when you do it

Also if there are any "gaps" or anywhere air can get in behind the MAF it will kill the car(loose clamp or hose not fitted correctly)

My car went into limp mode just now. I was cruising around for about an hour and got hungry. 30 mins later after grabbing a bite my car said service engine soon immediately after turning it on. Limped it home about a mile away. Courtesy Nissan is sending a truck to pick it up. This suxxxx.
The Service guy said it happens sometimes. It's basically the drive by wire throttle body getting confused and going into "safe mode." How did this happened in the first place?

Hmmm yup same scenario here today. It was like 100 degrees when it happened. I am not going to be a happy camper if this anomaly returns. I hope the pop charger has anything to do with it.
