Have just noticed this after 8,000 miles. When accelerating up to 4,000 I hear a whistle or mechanical "injector" type noise. It is very similar to the one when you start up the car and turn the key half way and stop then ignite it.

Have you guys noticed this? Does it have something to do with the fuel or oil being injected? Just curious and thanks for the replies.
