Default Bra or not to bra

Please help, I need info and feedback. I was wondering if anyone out there has put a vinyl bra on the front of their Z? I have been worried about the front end of my car getting dings and such from other cars and trucks while driving on the road. I saw a Z with a black bra, looked pretty cool. Said he purchased it from the dealer, but now I am worried that it might hurt my paint , as it says in the installation instuctions not to let it dry on vehicle if it gets wet. I have heard some mention of a clear bra . What is that and where do you get it? Please if any of you have put a bra on your Z , please let me know how it has worked for you. Thanks--------------- Granny N Da Z

Clear adhesive "stuff" that is cut to fit the front end of the car........protection without the hideous look of a vinyl bra. Clearbra is the only way to go!

go here: www.griotsgarage.com

They make a spray-on bra that peels right off when you don't want it. Perfect for when you want to take those longer trips, then remove for everyday use. Clear bra is nice, but when the plastic gets dinged, it'll still look like a ding. Not as bad as a ding right into the paint, however. Regular bras, even if "breathable", still can trap moisture and cause paint haze, They can also rub on the paint.

Yah, I've thought about getting the clear bra, too, but, I hear the older it gets, the more it shows, like, the line at the top. Anyone with experience of having it on for 2+ years?

Yep , I am getting a clear bra installed in a week. It's basically a transparent "film" that is "installed" on your hood, front bumper, mirrors, and fenders. Protects against ding and especially rock chips on our cheap Nissan paint. Beware, it is quite expensive though (but worth it). It'll run about $500-$600, installed. Better hurry up make a decision before your Z starts getting dinged up or put a regular bra on it in the meantime.

Clearbra here. It's the only way to protect your paint.

Where in CA are you located? There is a thread in the NorCal section that has the names of some reputable ClearBra installers...
