I'm going to have to check my tires. My '05 tires are still stock and have 26k miles on them and still have tread left. I'm expecting around 30k with them. I drive fast (4 tickets in 1.5 yrs ) but that's mostly straight-line acceleration. I don't really hit corners too hard after I lost control and my car did a full 180 degrees in the street lol.

It's basically where the insides of the tire wear out prematurely.

My 04.5 had it. I had my fronts replaced around 21k miles. Free of charge. If it was 'perfectly normal' I SERIOUSLY doubt nissan would have foot the bill. I just asked them to take a look at my tires because they were "wearing funny", and the next thing I know I've got two free new tires on my Z.

It's an incorrect TOE setting - not CAMBER. Yes there is negative camber but that isn't even where the problem is. The camber isn't even adjustable. An incorrect TOE setting will murder tires in a quickness. It is also adjustable. Go figure.

Cross rotating is when you dismount the tires and have them remounted to the opposites sides. I am pretty sure there is a sticky around for that. Nobody does it except those looking for ultimate mileage because of the cost.
Frankly, I thought the stock tires sucked so bad at everything else, there was no reason to make them last.

highside107, you live in the bay and you don't drive curves, so sad, that's what the bay is all about, wagon trails.

No, I'm telling you that you should do your homework before taking a smart-assed tone with me.
