Whatever happened to Tako???
Seems he bought out the site, then disappeared into obscurity.
Before becoming a Zaino Padawan learner, I was very interested in the Crystal Guard product he was working on.
Just wondering what plans he may have in store for our loved website...

I know some are kidding, some might not know that though so I'll set the record straight for the newbies that don't have a clue.
Tako is Takao, he is the owner of this site. No money was ever sent to him through paypal for anything. He was not banned, haha, he is the owner so that sort of isn't possible. Don't think we as mods haven't tried though.
Myself, JmanZ, I created this site in Feb 2002 and ran it for the better part of a year with the help of many forum members that donated to keep things running.
I was creating a 350Z fanclub and that is what some people paid dues towards through Paypal. When the site was old to Takao, the club was not killed, but the planning definately was postponed for a long while. Much of the reason I delayed was the explosion of new 350Z sites, each with great forums and I was waiting to get my life in check so I could pour 1200% into this project, without the same mistakes that occured the last time around. Many have had trouble contacting Takao incuding myself, so I have given up on it personally.
I am starting a new 350Z site inside the next 1-2 months and everything that was promised will be delivered, and then some. All those that paid in the past, will be emailed and will be getting what is coming to them, with extra stuff they didn't count on as well. I detail more about the new site and what it will have but this is not the place to do it. I know when I ran this site I wasn't happy about people spamming me, so I know better. heh

Oh, one last thing... Takao doesn't run adult sites that I know of. He has several businesses mind you, but not adult based to the best of my knowledge. Then again, I could be wrong.
Lastly, I will not allow this thread or any other thread to be turned into a *****/moan session over the past. I am directing this at those that have issue with me, the way the sale of this site went down, donations to the site or the way the fanclub was getting set up. You have a problem with me, grow a pair and email me. haha

I wish I was a pornstar. Some people thinks I am doing it. It's so funny!!! Should I add it to my profile??? Some guy who bought a Z at my dealer also said the same thing to sales people. I gonna find who he is and kick his a@s!! 
I don't usually talk about what I do so I have many bad rumors going around especially in SF bay area, such as "trading organs", "pornstar", "Asian millionair's son", "mad scientist", "rockstar" or "drug dealer".
My job is high tech, auto & entertainment industry VC, promoter and producer. I have been busy this year so far to organize a world peace conert held in Bali on 4/22. Press release will be done this month, I think. I already locked in Santana, Cheryl Crow, Aerosmith, Moby, Jay Chao and more. I am thinking about giving away some show tickets soon. (trying) but I started adding more contents and features to the site. Doing my effort, buddies!
I never charged anyone on this site, and I never did any scam on this site. FYI. This is totally free site and no financial obligation for members.

Yes I think I gonna sell it because I have to spend almost half time out side of USA for coming few years and I need to get another car in Tokyo. I may get a convertible one in the future. Not sure yet....

Have you considered a junior admin so that we can get the links pages going and some other sections of the site?
The traffic here is unbelievable! If the links page was updated with Manufacturers, Performance shos, parts suppliers, etc, it would be a major asset.

Sounds like you are very busy. The concert sounds like it will be quite a show... I'd try to go, but my Z's already made one trip across the Pacific. A second may be pushing my luck...
